Overview
VALORANT is a free-to-play tactical first-person shooter developed and published by Riot Games. It is available on Windows PC through the Riot Client and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
Two teams of five play rounds in which one side attacks to plant a device called the Spike while the other side defends. Each player chooses an agent with unique abilities, such as smokes, flashes or healing, which are combined with precise gunplay and an in-round economy for buying weapons and abilities. Modes include unrated and competitive matches, Spike Rush and Deathmatch, and the game supports a large competitive and esports community.
VALORANT is free to play. Agents can be unlocked through play, and Riot sells an in-game currency used for weapon skins and other cosmetic items, which are optional. On PC the game requires Riot’s anti-cheat software. Download it only from playvalorant.com or official console stores.
